Don Bosco Higher Secondary School Location Irinjalakuda, Kerala, India Information Motto Excelsior Established March 1962 Number of students 1200 Don Bosco Higher Secondary School in Irinjalakuda, in the Kerala state of India, began in March 1962 on the invitation of the late Bishop of Thrissur, George Alappatt. A high school, a lower primary school and a boarding were started. It began as an English-medium and a Malayalam-medium school and the Government sanctioned the Don Bosco High School as an unaided but recognised school on May 6, 1962. The Malayalam-medium section was discontinued later. A boarding section too was started on January 2, 1963, which was closed later on. In 1987, a spacious indoor stadium was built to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of the Institution.
