Dr. Franck Benhamou is a French Plastic (Cosmetic) Surgeon and author based in Paris, France. Benhamou is author of "Breast Implants in 100 Questions"[1] ("Les Prothèses Mammaires en 100 Questions" in French (2010, Éditions Greco)) and "Cosmetic Surgery: Is It the Solution?" "La chirurgie esthétique est-elle la solution? in French (2009, Éditions Greco)).
Dr. Benhamou received his degree from the Université de Paris and is proficient in a number of plastic surgery procedures including breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, face-lifts, and breast reconstruction.
He is a member of many organizations and board including the Société Française Chirurgie Plastique Reconstructrice et Esthétique (2008). SOFCPRE.
Dr. Benhamou has presented papers at professional conferences and published in many professional journals including the Symposium de printemps de la SOFCRE 06/ 2008 (Grande Motte, France), the Congrès de la Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons (Quebec, CANADA), the Congrès de la Mediterranean Society of Plastic Surgery (Nice, FRANCE), the Congrès de la Journées du jeune Plasticien : 03/2006 (Paris, FRANCE), and Brûlures, vol.VI, n°3, p.129, nov. 2005.
Dr. Benhamou is a pioneer in the French cosmetic surgery industry for his publications and his experience with the latest techniques in breast augmentation surgery. He is particularly well-known for his breast augmentation procedures and his work studying new techniques that leave few, and in some cases, no visible scars after the procedure. Doctor Benhamou has been interviewed by a number of French and English publications[2] because of his work.
Dr. Franck Benhamou is a frequent contributor to international conferences on plastic surgery and breast augmentation. He has attended major symposiums and conferences in Canada, Europe, and the United States.
Dr. Benhamou was recently an attendee at the Tokyo Scarring Conference in Tokyo, Japan. In January of 2011 Doctor Franck Benhamou released a unique IPhone application[3] that centers around many aspects of cosmetic surgery.
Doctor Franck Benhamou is also well-known for his pro bono reconstructive surgery work in French Guyana.
