Massey family

The Massey families are prominent Canadian and American (North Carolina and Indiana) families. The Canadian Masseys are known for manufacturers of farm equipment and are active patrons of the Canadian arts. The North Carolina Masseys are descended from Thomas Massey who immigrated from Cheshire, England to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1683 on the sloop Endeavor. The company they founded went on to become Massey Ferguson.
