Divine apathy

Divine apathy is the doctrine that the divine nature is incapable of suffering, passivity or modification. This doctrine is a common feature of Platonist, Aristotelian, and Stoic philosophical theology and was held by most Jewish, Christian, and Muslim thinkers prior to the twentieth century.
