Diver Point

Diver Point

Diver Point (54°0′S 38°3′W / 54°S 38.05°W / -54; -38.05) is a point midway along the north shore of Bird Island, South Georgia. A United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) name that derives from the South Georgia Diving Petrel (Pelecanoides georgicus) which nests nearby.
