It was presented by Ooh and Aah until 2011 and doesn't screen advertising. It was launched on December 3, 2006 under the name "Playhouse Disney" as a block on Disney Channel. On September 1, 2010, Playhouse Disney Channel replaced a month earlier closed channel Jetix Play.[1] On June 1, 2011 it was rebranded as Disney Junior.[2]
