This species feeds on bryozoans.

Description
This species, like others in the genus, is translucent with large, broad cerata. The color varies from white through rose pink to a rufus shade, as shown in the images that accompany this article. They are carnivores that feed mostly on small crustaceans and snails, and can get to be 180 mm (7 inches) in length.[1]
Distribution
This species occurs in the Eastern Pacific Ocean from Alaska to San Diego, California.
