Diplatyidae is a family of earwigs in the suborder Forficulina.[2] It contains only one subfamily, Diplatyinae,[3] which contains at least two genera: Diplatys and Haplodiplatys.[4][5] It is a relatively small family, comprising few species when compared to other families in Forficulina, such as Anisolabididae, Chelisochidae, and Forficulidae.
