She is the director of Welspun Retail Ltd.[1] and is one of the promoters of the Welspun Group.[2] She is a member of the Governing Body of FICCI FLO, the women's wing of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce, and the chairperson of FLO - Mumbai Chapter.[3]

Background
Dipali is a graduate in Psychology and has completed the Owner/President Management Program from the Harvard Business School. She leads Welspun’s retail initiative in India and has set up two distinct brands — “SPACES Home & Beyond” and “WELHOME”.
Dipali initiated the set up of Welspun Vidyamandir High School, a school affiliated under Central Board of Secondary Education and Welspun Anganwadi, a pre-primary school in Anjar, Gujarat, India.
She is also a trained Kathak dancer of the “Jaipur Gharana”.
Company
Established in January 2006,[4] Welspun Retail Limited is part of the US$3 billion Welspun Group. The company is amongst India’s first and only organized retail company in the home segment, with brands catering to distinct segments — from the elite shopper to the value-for-money seekers. Welspun Retail has set up a retail space of over 2,00,000 sq. ft. with 250 stores spread across 120 cities in India as of February 2009.[5][6]
