Release
DMDT was released by Naila Films on April 1, 1968 in Pakistani cinemas. The film completed 18 weeks on main cinema and 58 weeks on other cinemas in Karachi and thus became a golden jubilee film.[1]
Music
Music was composed by Inayat Hussein and the songs were written by Qateel Shifai. Playback singers are Ahmed Rushdi, Mala, Mehdi Hassan and Masood Rana. Ahmed Rushdi won classic award for the song "kiya hai jo payar toe".[citation needed]
