Digaleto is located 12 km SSE of Sami, about 10 to 15 km northwest of Poros and about 30 km east of Argostoli. Digaleto is connected with the road connecting the Argostoli-Poros Road and Sami and connects with a poor road to Agios Eleftherios and the north slope of mount Ainos.
Geography
Digaleto is mountainous and mostly made up of farmland. The town sits adjacent to the Ainos mountains, and the surrounding area is mainly deforested.
Economy
The Diagaleto economy is supported by agricultre, its main production includes olives, cattle, fruits, vegetables and other crops. The village has about 200 to 400 farms in the area.
