Football career
A product of hometown Real Betis' youth ranks, Segura first appeared with the first team during 2008–09, in three consecutive matchdays in late November/early December, due to injuries to teammates: his debut arrived as he played the last five minutes of the 2–3 loss at Valencia CF.
In the 2009 summer, Segura was released following Betis' La Liga relegation, and joined Deportivo Alavés, in the third division. On 16 July 2010, he changed teams again, joining Real Jaén, also in level three.
