Diarmait MacCairbre, Irish musician, executed 1490.
According to the Annals of the Four Masters, in 1490:
John Oge, the son of John More of Ilay (John of Islay, Earl of Ross), was treacherously slain by Diarmait Mac Cairbre, an Ultonian (Ulster) harper, who was one of his own servants; but Mac Carbry was quartered for this crime.
