Dhani Bandhwali (Wikimapia) is a small village situated near Nangal Choudhary town (First Cyber Village of Haryana). It is basically originated from Nangal Kaliya village which is situated 2 km from it. Dhani is a Rajasthani word which means a small village.

History
The name "Bandhwali" originated from the name of an old well, Bandhala, situated in the center of the village. So, the name signifies "A small village having Bandhala Well". It is covered under "Nangal Choudhary" [1] assembly seat of Haryana Government and District Mohindergarh since last Assembly election in 2009. Earlier it was a part of Ateli assembly seat. "Yaduvanshi Ahirs" (a Yadav caste) are the residents of this village. It has around 60-70 houses and a population of 250-300 people.
Infrastructure
It has a primary school (L.K.G. to 5th Class) for village children. There is small pond (Johdi) near the village used to collect rain-water. Its water is used for drinking purpose for village cattle.
The village is connected to Narnaul–Jaipur state highway with a 400-meter concrete road. The road was built by the late Sh. Rao Bansi Singh Ji, former M.L.A., Ateli.
Neighbouring villages are Mohanpur village in South direction, Dhani Bayawali in East, Sirohi Bhali and Nangal Kaliya in North and Dhani Kumbhawali in West direction.
It comes under the Panchayat of Nangal Kaliya village and has a single sear reserved for Panch. The main occupation of the residents is agriculture but now the younger ones are more attracted and motivated towards public-private sector jobs. Most of them are currently serving the nation by serving in Indian Armed Forces i.e. Army, C.R.P.F., B.S.F., Haryana Police etc.
Festivals
All Hindu festivals i.e. Diwali, Dusssera, Holi, Dhulandi, Nav-Samvat, Navraatri, Janamashtmi, Guga-Navmi, Maha-Shivratri, Sankranti, Raksha-Bandhan are celebrated by people. Women celebrate Karwa-Chauth, Teej, Til-Kutni, Nirjala Ekadshi and Hoee-Maata festivals. Some people also go for a Kanwad yatra during "Shraawan", "Shyaam Baba" yatra etc.
Food
People prefer very basic Haryanavi food as their primary diet. The food contains grains as the primary content. The choice varies as per the season. In Winter, "Bajra (Pearl Millet)" is the primary grain and in Summer, "Genhu (Wheat)" is the primary intake. The decision of choosing the food is targeted on factors as "Nutrition, Energy".
