Devil and the Deep (1932) is a Paramount Pictures film starring Tallulah Bankhead, Gary Cooper, Charles Laughton, and Cary Grant.[1]

Contents

Plot

Charles Storm (Laughton) is a naval commander whose jealousy makes life miserable for his wife Diana (Bankhead). His suspicions fall over his own subordinate, Lieutenant Jaeckel (Grant). Although his suspicions had no cause, soon his obsessive behavior drives Diana into the arms of yet another officer, Lieutenant Sempter (Cooper). Learning of their affair, Charles plots a terrible revenge.
