(2001)"Destiny" is a song by the band Zero 7 and features vocal performances by Sia Furler and Sophie Barker. It was included on the album Simple Things and was released as a single.
It was included on the soundtracks for both the films Blue Crush and Raising Helen as well as the chill-out compilation CD Chillout 2002: The Ultimate Chillout.[1] The song was also featured in the Sky Movies advertising of the Star Wars saga on British television. Lacoste used the song as background music for their official website.
Two music videos were produced for this song, one directed by Tommy Pallotta at Ghost Robot utilizing interpolated rotoscoping techniques and another by Howard Greenhalgh.
The song's lyrics deal with two lonely hearts whose paths in life will eventually tread into one another.
