Biography
Denisa Legac was born on 11 November 1975, in Zagreb, Croatia. After finishing her elementary education in Croatia, she went to Lichtenfels Grammar School in Graz, Austria. Therefore she enrolled in the Medical University of Graz, where she graduated in 2001. Within the last two years of medical education she started to attend hypnotherapy education and intensify her interest in psychotherapy. At first she worked as a guest doctor in LKH Graz. After several months she returned to Croatia for patriotic reasons and bringing to an end her licensing as a medical doctor there, she became a GP. After a short while she turned completely to psychotherapy (hypnotherapy). Within the Croatian Society for Medical Hypnosis[2], which she founded in 2002 and holds its presidency, she was holding lectures all over the country and internationally. In the course of that time the fundaments were built for the No Limits Therapy, a unique new tool in approaching the patient, his/her health issues and needs. The name No Limits arose during a Monday night bike ride in August 2008 in Palo Alto, California, just after passing by the Google building.
Croatian Society for Medical Hypnosis
The Croatian Society for Medical Hypnosis[2] was founded in 2002, as an association within the Croatian Medical Association. It provides constant education in medical hypnosis and hypnotherapy for medical students and doctors as well as health practitioners.
Milton Erickson Center in Zagreb, Croatia
The idea of founding the Milton Erickson Center in Zagreb[1] has arisen in 2005, during the DGH conference in Bad Lippspringe in Germany, when Denisa Legac first met Jeffrey K. Zeig, the president of the Milton Erickson Foundation in Phoenix, Arizona.
The Center was founded in 2006, with Dr. Denisa Legac being one of the founders and today’s board member as well as president of the Center’s scientific committee.
The goal of the Milton Erickson Center in Zagreb, Croatia, is to introduce both the public and health practitioners into the large spectrum of work and personality of Dr. Milton H. Erickson.
