Demian Serhiyovych Korotchenko (Ukrainian: Дем’ян Сергійович Коротченко; 29 November 1894 - April, 7, 1969) was a Ukrainian and Soviet politician, who twice served as the head of government of Ukrainian SSR (today's equivalent of prime-minister).^[1]

Biography

Demian Korotchenko was born in a peasant family in a small village in Sumska Oblast, eastern Ukraine.

Awards

Demian Korotchenko was awarded the Hero of Socialist Labour in 1964.
