He claimed gold medal at The Bahamas 2010 Championships over 400m with a (45.21) defeating heavy favorite and outdoor national record holder Chris Brown He also finished third at NACAC U-23 Championships (45.90) in Miramar, Florida and helped the 4 x 400 metres relay team to a (3:02.91) second place finish. Helped The Bahamas 4 x 400 metres relay team to another second place finish in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico at the Central American and Caribbean Games in a time of (3:01.82). Placed fifth in 400m at 2010 NCAA Indoor Championships with an indoor best of 46.01 ... Finished sixth at 2010 NCAA Outdoor Championships with a 45.56 ... 2010 Big 12 Indoor silver medalist (46.49) ... 2010 Big 12 Outdoor silver medalist (46.02) . Personal best marks in both rounds of the 2010 NCAA West region preliminary in Austin, Texas clocking (45.39) and (44.93) to win his prelim and quarterfinal races. On March 12, 2011 he broke the 400m indoor national record of 45.78 previously held by Chris Brown with his 45.33 win at the 2011 NCAA Division I Indoor Championships.
