Dead Heart Bloom

Dead Heart Bloom is a rock band currently based in New York City and founded by songwriter Boris Skalsky. The band has released 3 LPs and 3 EPs since its founding in 2005. Members of the band also include guitarist Paul Wood. Both Skalsky and Wood were prior members of acclaimed Washington, D.C. newgaze rock outfit Phaser. In 2011 it was also announced that they would be joining the band Skysaw, the new project of former Smashing Pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlin.

Critical acclaim

• Rolling Stone lauded the band's EP Fall In in 2008.^[1]
• Dead Heart Bloom was featured on NPR's open mic in 2006 and Second Stage in 2008.^[2]
• Under the Radar magazine picked Dead Heart Bloom as one of the "new artists to keep an eye on in 2006".^[3]
