De'Angelo Wilson (March 29, 1979 - November 26, 2008) was an American film and television actor; he was also a hip-hop artist.[clarification needed]

Early life and education

He was born De'Angelo Ke'Shine Hill Wilson in Dayton, Ohio. He attended Kent State University, in Kent, Ohio, where he studied acting.

Career

Wilson appeared in four films including as DJ Iz in 8 Mile (2002) and as Jesse Age 19 in the Antwone Fisher (2002). He also appeared in two television productions.

Death

Wilson was found hanged in the back room of a commercial building in Los Angeles, California; his death was ruled a suicide. His mother, Debra, stated that her son had become depressed after he got the idea that his career was failing. Wilson's friends paid to have his body sent back to Ohio for a funeral.[citation needed]
