dbForge Schema Compare for Oracle is a software application created by Devart for comparing and synchronizing schemes of Oracle databases.

Editions (licenses)

dbForge Schema Compare for Oracle is available in two editions: Standard and Professional.

Standard edition includes basic tools for schema comparison and synchronization.

Professional edition is a fully featured software for schema comparison and synchronization with additional tools aimed at database management simplification^[1].

History

The first version of the product (1.00.183) was released on 23 February 2011 in Standard edition only. dbForge Schema Compare for Oracle was also available in early access review starting from December 22nd, 2010.

Current product version - 2.0.62 has been available since June, 6th 2011. It features several visual and functional improvements and one more edition - Professional^[2].

Functionality

dbForge Schema Compare for Oracle has got a number of features, related to Oracle database schema comparison and synchronization:

• Rich synchronization options;
• Schema snapshots and version control integration;
• Saving schema comparison settings for the next usage;
• Works with multiple schemas at once;
• No Oracle client required^[3].
