MMA career

Rickels made his professional MMA debut in February 2010 winning by TKO in the first round.[1]

Bellator Fighting Championships

Rickels made his Bellator Fighting Championships debut on April 9, 2011 at Bellator 40 where he defeated undefeated fighter Dylan Smith by triangle choke in round 1.[2]

Rickels next fought Strikeforce veteran Richard Bouphanouvong on May 7, 2011 at Bellator 43 where he won by Triangle choke in round 2.[3]
