Medal record Men's slalom canoeing World Championships Silver 1967 Lipno K-1 Bronze 1963 Spittal Folding K-1 team David Mitchell (born 5 February 1943) is a former British slalom canoer who competed in the 1960s and 1970s. He won a silver medal in the K-1 event at the 1967 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships in Lipno nad Vltavou.
Mitchell also finished 22nd in the K-1 event at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich.
Mitchell also holds the record for the most consecutive British National Titles with 6, and has a total of 8.
