The Very Rev David John Ison is the current[1] Dean of Bradford. [2]

Born on 15 September 1954 and educated at the University of Leicester he was ordained in 1980[3] and began his career as Curate of St Nicholas and St Luke, Deptford. From 1985 to 1988 he was a tutor at the Church Army Training College and then Vicar of Potters Green until 1993. He was Officer for Continuing Ministerial Education for the Diocese of Exeter [4]
