Writing
Holmes has written for television shows including In Treatment (HBO) for which he won a Writers Guild of America Award for Best Screenplay - New Series,[1] Damages (FX) for which he received a nomination for Writers Guild of America Award for Best Screenplay - New Series,[2] Pushing Daisies (ABC; Holmes also credited as producer),[3] 3 lbs (CBS; starring Stanley Tucci) and Law & Order (NBC). According to IMDB.com, Holmes is a supervising producer and writer on a new show on Fox, The Chicago Code (2011).[3]
Holmes began his writing career in New York City with a production of his original play More Lies About Jerzy (2001) at the Vineyard Theatre starring Jared Harris,[4] and later productions of the play in London at the New End Theatre[5] and in Los Angeles at the Hayworth Theatre[6] starring Jack Stehlin. "Worthy" - TV Show
According to reports from Reuters[7] and the Hollywood Reporter[8] a spec script for an original TV series written by Holmes, titled "Worthy" was purchased by the Fox television network. Holmes is listed as Executive Producer, and Jake Kasdan as director.[9] According to articles, the plot of the show revolves around a corrupt politician and blackmail.
Personal life
Holmes married actress Sonya Walger in July 2009. They currently reside in Los Angeles, California.
Other Biographical Details
Holmes played keyboard on tour with the popular ska punk band, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. He also appears on their 1989 album, Devil's Night Out. Early releases of the album list him as a band member; releases after Holmes left the band list him under "additional musicians".
