Pan American Games Gold 1959 Chicago Decathlon David ("Dave") Allan Edstrom (born September 10, 1938 in Portland, Oregon) is a former decathlete from the United States. He won the gold medal in the men's decathlon event at the 1959 Pan American Games in Chicago.
At the AAU decathlon, Edstrom was runner-up in 1957, 1959, and 1961. He competed for the University of Oregon, the Emerald Empire TC, the Oregon TC, and the US Air Force. He represented his native country at the 1960 Summer Olympics.
