Coaching career
Drake was the was the second head football coach for the Azusa Pacific Cougars located in Azusa, California and he held that position for one season, in 1966. His coaching record at Azusa Pacific was 5 wins, 4 losses, and 0 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2009 season, this ranks him #8 at Azusa Pacific in total wins and #3 at the school in winning percentage (.556).[1]
