Darya Dontsova (born 1952, Moscow) (Russian: Дарья Донцова) - is a Russian writer of detective novels.[1] She produced several dozen (approximately 150) such commercially successful books and also kitchen books and three autobiographies.
Dontsova is very popular writer especially among Russian women, being voted in the top 100 of Russia's elite in polls commissioned by Kommersant in 2003 and 2007.[2][3] She has plenty of literature prizes and nominations.
