Darley Hills

Darley Hills (81°6′S 160°10′E / 81.1°S 160.167°E / -81.1; 160.167) is a range of high, ice-covered coastal hills overlooking Ross Ice Shelf, trending north-south for about 20 nautical miles (37 km) between Capes Douglas and Parr. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for James M. Darley, chief cartographer of the National Geographic Society, 1940–63, under whose direction many important maps of Antarctica were published.
