Darezhan Omirbaev (Kazakh: Дарежан Омiрбаев, born 15 March 1958) is a Kazakhstani film director and screenwriter. He has directed eight films since 1982. His film Tueur à gages was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1998 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Un Certain Regard Prize.^[1]
