Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), Laheriasarai was established in 1946. The college is affiliated to Lalit Narayan Mithila University and is approved[1] by Medical Council of India (MCI) . The college is the oldest medical college in Bihar with largest campus in state. The college was started as a Temple Medical School in 1925 and was upgraded into a college in 1946.[2] DMCH is the second oldest medical college in Bihar after PMCH.
