Danuwa analihi Adonvdo ("Dr of Oldies") is a Native[clarification needed] flute artist, producer, writer and broadcaster. Also known as the Gas Sation DJ, he was born Richard Crummitt on July 22, 1964, in Washington, D.C. Adonvdo graduated Cattonsville Community College in 1993 and attended broadcasting School in Baltimore in 1994. He worked as a broadcaster and board operator for WCEM AM/FM, WTDK, WAAI for 8 years. He married Usti Woya Adonvdo, a Cherokee Native American in 2004. Adonvdo started recording in 2005.
