Danijela Dimitrovska (Serbian pronunciation: [danijɛ̌ːla dimitrɔ̌ʋskaː]) (Serbian: Данијела Димитровска; born 29 October 1987) is a Serbian model. She is one of most eminent Serbian models, along with Marija Vujović and Nataša Vojnović. Dimitrovska began her modelling career by winning the Elite Model Look competition in Serbia in 2004.

Career

Dimitrovska began her professional career as a model in 2004, aged 16, by winning the Elite Model Look competition in Serbia.[1] She has since been a spokesperson for various brands, such as Vera Wang,[2] Anne Fontaine, Benetton, BCBG Max Azria, Christian Lacroix, French Connection, Leonard, Marella, Miu Miu, Betty Jackson, YSL and Louis Vuitton.[1][3] Some of her campaigns also include Emporio Armani, when she posed along with Giorgio Armani and other models for Italian Marie Claire, and a television commercial for YSL with French actor Vincent Cassel.[4]

In November 2009, Dimitrovska was chosen as one of promotional models for Victoria's Secret.[4][5][6] She had her first photo session in April 2010.[6][7]

Personal life

Dimitrovska was born in Požarevac, but currently resides in New York City,[8] and had previously lived in Paris for three years.[9] As of July 2010, she is rumoured to date Serbian actor and television presenter Ognjen Amidžić.[10][11] Dimitrovska is a good friend of Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen.[12]
