Daniel Marc Robertson (born 14 June 1988) is a youth voice activist and Company director of the Scottish Youth Parliament.
Biography
Individually and through the Scottish Youth Parliament, John has campaigned to improve the lives and rights for young people across the country and to highlight the injustices and inequalites that exist in society.
After attending Inchview Primary School, the majority of John's High School life was as Craigroyston Community High School in Edinburgh. He then went on to Study an Honours Degree in Politics and Sociology at the University of Stirling, but put those studies on hold in 2007. He currently works as Policy and Communications Officer for the youth work charity, Fairbridge in Scotland.
John stood as an independent candidate in a by-election for the Forth ward in Edinburgh City Council in November 2008.[1]
