Rose Center (commonly as Rose Arena), is a multi-purpose arena, in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, United States. The arena opened in 1973 and is part of a larger facility known as the CMU Events Center. The arena is home to the Central Michigan University Chippewas men's and women's basketball, women's gymnastics, women's volleyball, and men's wrestling teams. In 2009–2010, the CMU Events Center underwent a $20 million renovation that included reconfigured seating in the arena, slightly increasing seating capacity to 5,300 from the previous capacity of 5,200.[1][2]
