Daniel Jesse Boateng (born 2 September 1992) is a Ghanaian footballer, who plays as a defender for Arsenal. He holds both a Ghanaian passport and a British passport.

Boateng joined Arsenal in September 2003 and progressed through the ranks. On 20 July 2009, he made his reserves debut in friendly against Lincoln.^[2] He signed a professional contract with Arsenal in July 2010.^[3] He made his competitive first team debut for Arsenal in the League Cup against Bolton.^[4]
