Kieran James Ricardo Gibbs (born 26 September 1989 in Lambeth, London) is an English professional footballer, who currently plays for Arsenal. He attended Riddlesdown High School in Purley, South London.

Club career

Gibbs began his career at the Wimbledon academy but moved to Arsenal when the Wimbledon Academy disbanded in 2004. He plays in the centre-midfield position but is also known to play on the left wing. He has featured regularly for Arsenal's U18 and Reserves teams and also played in pre-season friendlies against Barnet and Inter Milan, the latter for which he received a standing ovation when he was substituted. He returned to Arsenal a match early on 29 April 2008 and retook his place in the Arsenal reserve squad.
