Dandy Dan Daniels was one of the 'Good Guys' - disc jockeys on New York radio station, WMCA. He performed too and was the first to record the song "Is That All There Is?".[1][2]
He started at KXYZ in Houston and then worked at WDGY in Minneapolis before moving to WMCA.[3]
