KXYZ is an AM radio station in Greater Houston, which broadcasts on 1320 kHz under ownership of Multicultural Broadcasting. It has once featured Daytime programming from the Biz Radio Network, but it's now a full-time Vietnamese station.

History

During the 1960's, KXYZ was affiliated with ABC and played beautiful music. Throughout the 1980s and '90s, this was a Spanish language station that was owned by Infinity Broadcasting (now CBS Radio). During this period, KXYZ carried Houston Astros games in Spanish. Multicultural Broadcasting has bought KXYZ from Infinity/CBS as Biz Radio made its debut in the early 2000s.

Biz Radio has left KXYZ for KTEK in Alvin, Texas. It has purchased KTEK and began signal testing in November 2007 simulcasting with KXYZ until December 11, 2007. Its only drawback on the move to KTEK is that their signal is much weaker than KXYZ's.
