Previously a media columnist and film critic for the "
National Post ", he left the newspaper in 2004 to become head speechwriter for former Prime MinisterPaul Martin ,He also wrote the books "Searching for Michael Jackson's Nose" [ "Searching for Michael Jackson's Nose", McClelland & Stewart, 2003 ] and "How Not to Completely Suck as a New Parent" [ "How Not to Completely Suck as a New Parent", McClelland & Stewart, 2004 ] and currently writes humorous editorials in the Canadian magazine "

blog about life on the campaign trail.
