Dakers Island

Dakers Island: Dakers Island (64°46′S 64°23′W / 64.767°S 64.383°W / -64.767; -64.383) is an island between Hartshorne Island and McGuire Island in eastern Joubin Islands. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Hugh B. Dakers, cook in R.V. Hero on her first Antarctic voyage to Palmer Station in 1968.
