Daiopterix is an extinct genus of moths within the family Eolepidopterigidae, containing two species. Daiopterix rasnitsyni is known from Kazakstan. The fossil remains are dated to the Jurassic.[1]
The second species, Daiopterix olgae is known from the Glushkova Formation in central Siberia. It is dated to the Jurassic-Cretaceous boundary at about 145 mya.
