Taklung (town)

Taklung, Taglung or Daglung is a small town in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. It lies at an altitude of 4459 metres (14,632 feet). The town was once the seat of the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism, with its headquarters at the Taklung Monastery.
