Dag Øistein Endsjø (born 11 November 1968 in Ann Arbor, Michigan) is a Norwegian professor in religious studies at the University of Bergen, Norway.[1][2] and a human rights activist. He is primarily known for having contributed to change the Norwegian debate on equal rights into a general discussion of human rights.
As a religious scholar, Endsjø specializes in Greek religion, early Christianity, human rights and religion, and, sex and religion.
Since 2004, Endsjø has been the leader of Menneskerettsalliansen, the Norwegian Human Rights Alliance.
