One of the most-watched TV series in South Korea in 2010,[1] it gained success due to its stellar cast and story arcs taken from topical and controversial headlines. It is based on famed manhwa artist Park In Kwon's comic of the same name.

Synopsis
Anchorwoman Seo Hye Rim (Maureen Seo), who gets fired while protesting about her husband's undeserved death, enters politics by proposal of Kang Tae San (Cong. Victor Kang), who is a member of the ruling party and a strong candidate for the next presidential election. With the help of Ha Do Ya, whom she has known since childhood, Seo becomes the first female president of Korea. With political pressure and threats of potential impeachment from rival Kang and his allies, Seo faces the crises and challenges of her term.[2]

International Broadcast
In the Philippines, it has been aired on GMA Network since August 8, 2011 to November 25, 2011. Just like previous "Koreanovelas" of GMA, it has been dubbed in Filipino and the characters' names have been westernized. The drama got the attention from Filipino viewers because of its unique story capturing the mind and heart of many Filipinos because it mirrors the kind of politics in their country.[3]
