Dream 11: Feather Weight Grand Prix 2009 Final Round was a mixed martial arts event promoted by Fighting and Entertainment Group's mixed martial arts promotion Dream held on October 6, 2009.

Dream 11 was the culmination of the Feather Weight Grand Prix, where both the Semi-Finals and Finals took place in the same night. It also featured the Semi-Finals of the Super Hulk Grand Prix 2009. Additionally, there was a championship bout: Joachim Hansen defended the Dream Lightweight Championship against Shinya Aoki.

Dream's featherweight division has a 63 kilograms (139 lb) weight limit.

Feather Weight Grand Prix 2009 Reserve bout

• Kazuyuki Miyata vs. Dj Taiki^[1]

Miyata defeated Taiki via decision (Unanimous).

Feather Weight Grand Prix 2009 Semi-Finals

• Hiroyuki Takaya vs. Hideo Tokoro^[1]

Takaya defeated Tokoro via TKO (Punches) at 0:32 of round 2.

• Bibiano Fernandes vs. Joe Warren^[1]

Fernandes defeated Warren via submission (Armbar) at 0:42 of round 1.

Super Hulk Grand Prix 2009 Semi-Finals

• Ikuhisa Minowa vs. Hong Man Choi^[1]

Minowa defeated Choi via submission (Heel Hook) at 1:27 of round 2.

• Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou vs. Bob Sapp^[1]

Sokoudjou defeated Sapp via TKO (Punches) at 1:31 of round 1.

Super Fights

• Lightweight bout: Tatsuya Kawajiri vs. Melchor Manibusan^[1]

Kawajiri defeated Manibusan via TKO (Punches) at 3:48 of round 1.

• Middleweight bout: Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Rubin Williams^[1]

Sakuraba defeated Williams via submission (Kimura) at 2:53 of round 1.

Dream Lightweight Championship bout

• Joachim Hansen (c) vs. Shinya Aoki^[1]

Aoki defeated Hansen via submission (Armbar) at 4:56 of round 2 to become the new Dream Lightweight Champion.

Feather Weight Grand Prix 2009 Final

• Hiroyuki Takaya vs. Bibiano Fernandes^[1]

Fernandes defeated Takaya via decision (Split) to become the first Dream Featherweight Champion.

Notes

• Dream 11 was the second, and last, Dream event to be shown live in primetime on Tokyo Broadcasting System during 2009.
• Eddie Alvarez and Gesias Calvancante were briefly rumored to meet at Dream 11.^[2] However, due to Eddie Alvarez's contractual obligations to Bellator Fighting Championships, the fight was scrapped early in negotiations.^[3]
• Kazuyuki Miayata and Takeshi Yamazaki fought at DEEP 42 IMPACT to decided who would fight DJ.Taiki in the Feather Weight Grand Prix Reserve bout.^[4]
• An early rumored bout placed Ronaldo Souza against Jason "Mayhem" Miller in a rematch for the Dream Middleweight Championship.^[5][6] However, the bout was scrapped after Ronaldo Souza signed with Strikeforce.^[7]
• Though featured on the Dream 11 promotion material,^[8][9] Norifumi "KID" Yamamoto did not participate in the event, as he is taking a hiatus to train outside of Japan, and will return to MMA competition at Dynamite!! 2009.^[10]
• Gegard Mousasi advanced to the Second Round of the Super Hulk Grand Prix after defeating Mark Hunt at Dream 9, but had to pull out of the tournament due to an injury.^[11]
• A bout between Daisuke Nakamura and Gesias Calvancante had original been planned for Dream 11.^[12] However, due to a knee injury sustained by Calvancante, the bout was reportedly scrapped.^[13] This resulted in Nakamura being moved to Dream 12.^[14]
