Denna Frank Fleming, (1893–1980) American revisionist historian and published author who wrote The Cold War and Its Origins, a seminal work on the Cold War. Joseph Stromberg has called The Cold War and Its Origins "very detailed and, therefore, useful on the critical period, 1945-1947, before Stalin made his final decision to impose one-party Communist regimes throughout Eastern Europe," while arguing that "Fleming’s account suffers from his neo-Wilsonian preconceptions and his view that Stalin was significantly better than the defeated Hitler."[1]
