D'Urville Monument (63°25′S 56°18′W / 63.417°S 56.3°W) is a conspicuous conical summit, 575 m, at the southwest end of Joinville Island, off the northeast end of Antarctic Peninsula. Discovered by a British expedition, 1839–43, under Ross, and named by him for Captain Jules Dumont d'Urville.
