- Custer Home
-
The Custer Home is a historic house museum located on Fort Riley in Kansas, USA. Originally thought to have been the home of George Armstrong Custer, later research showed he actually lived nearby, in a building which has not been preserved. The house attempts to display the living conditions of a military family of that era.
Visitor restrictions
Since the museum is on an active U.S. Army base, there are restrictions on visitors, including requirements for photo identification.[1]
